A singing group for young people aged 8-14

Starting Saturday 9 January 2027
Every Saturday, 11am-1pm
Rosemount Community Centre

Come along to our FREE taster session on Saturday 9 January!

Does your child love music, enjoy singing or want to try something new?

The Music 4 U Our Aberdeen Youth Choir welcomes young people of all abilities, including those with Additional Support Needs. Whether your child already loves to sing or is just starting out, our sessions offer a friendly, inclusive space to develop musical skills, build confidence, make friends and enjoy making music together.

Our sessions work towards public performances and showcases, giving young people the opportunity to share what they’ve learned, celebrate their progress and experience the excitement of performing as part of a group. Taking part in performances is always encouraged, but never compulsory - everyone can join in, develop at their own pace and enjoy singing in a way that feels right for them.

An introductory offer for new participants

Come and try us out at our free taster session on Saturday 9 January. After that, for a limited time, we're offering one hour free, so your child can enjoy two hours of tuition for just £10.

We also have a number of fully funded places available for children living in the following priority neighbourhoods:

• Middlefield

• Torry/Kincorth

• Seaton

• Tillydrone

• Woodside

• Ashgrove

• George Street

• Stockethill

What to bring: Please provide your child with water and ensure they wear loose, comfortable clothing and suitable footwear.

Interested in joining us?

We want every young person to feel welcome and supported. If you would like to find out more, book a place or discuss how we can help your child participate, please contact Music 4 U directly.
